Wingra Boats' mission is to connect people to each other, and to nature, through outdoor recreation and education!
Wingra Lake is a wake-free lake that is surrounded by the UW Arboretum. We offer public boat rentals which make getting out on the water with friends, family or by yourself easy and fun! Whether you are a first time boater or an avid paddler, Wingra is a perfect place to spend your summer. Check our event calendar to see what is going on this week.

Summer Jarosky- Wingra Boats Manager
Summer first started working at Wingra at the age of 14 and is glad to be back "home" at Wingra after many years away from Madison. She lives in the Arboretum with her husband, Joel. She is an ACA certified SUP and Kayak instructor. And yes, she is Tyler's sister

Tyler Leeper - President of Wingra, Brittingham and Marshall Boats
Tyler is responsible for Wingra, Brittingham and Marshall Boats. He has been working at Wingra Boats for over 15 years. Tyler has grown up with a love for the lakes and a deep passion for all water sports. You may find his adorable goldendoodle, Yahara, hanging out at one of the boat houses.
